Jenya Kirsanov was born on 4^th Oct 1986, he’s an only child, and has neither mother nor father. His father killed himself, and his mother died from alcoholism, so when Jenya was 8 years old a local church family took him in.

At 8 years Jenya could not read and write, but in the care of this family he made great progress, and has no problem with schoolwork now. A search was made for some living relatives, and a maternal aunt was found. Jenya went to live with this aunt until he was 18 years old when he was asked to leave.

His grandmother owned a flat, which was left to Jenya, and he moved to this accommodation when he was 18. He has had to go through a difficult process, of paying some debts associated with the flat, and proving that this apartment is legally his.

 He is now studying to become a chef, and finds making ends meet difficult.

Jenya likes the fact that the Ukraine has a rich cultural background of music, costume, culture, dance, and history. Jenya hates it when human beings do not get on, and treat each other badly. He is an amazingly kind natured boy.
